The house
A counter inside the ramparts
The house opened on boulevard Raspail at the end of 2025, a few streets from the place de l’Horloge. Bread, viennoiseries, pastries, snacking and catering are all sold at the same counter.
The far wall carries the painted sign, wicker baskets hold the breads above the window, and the trompe-l’œil wait underneath for someone to ask which is which.
Boulevard Raspail
What is waiting behind the glass
The front on boulevard Raspail, then the boards of the window, piece by piece. The window changes with the season.
What customers say
The reviews stay on Google
We do not show a rating until it has been read off the house’s own listing, and we never copy across someone else’s.
The full reviews, with their authors and dates, are on the shop’s Google listing.
In person
The window is waiting
The counter is listed online, the window says what is left. Push the door open, or call to have a piece set aside.

Frequently asked
What people ask us most
What are your opening hours?
Each day’s hours, and any exceptional closures, are shown at the foot of every page. The top of the home page says whether we are open at the moment you are reading.
What is a trompe-l’œil, here?
An entremets that imitates the fruit it is made of: a hand-airbrushed chocolate shell, a fruit centre and a mousse inside. A lemon looks like a lemon until the first spoonful. The flavours turn with the season, and the window says what is left.
Does the online catalogue carry prices?
Not yet. The catalogue says what the house offers; the prices are on the slates in the window and at the counter. One phone call gives the exact price of any piece.
Is everything in the catalogue always in the window?
No: the window changes with the season and through the day. To be sure of a particular piece, call 06 25 81 91 83 and have it set aside.
Can I order a cake for a given date?
Yes. Sharing cakes, platters and buffets can be ordered by phone on 06 25 81 91 83, by message on Instagram or at the counter. The lead time is agreed when you order.
Do you sell online?
No, there is no basket and no payment on this site: bread and pastry are collected in the shop, on the day. What exists instead is ordering by phone on 06 25 81 91 83 and collecting at the counter.
How do I get there and where can I park?
We are at 5 boulevard Raspail, 84000 Avignon, inside the ramparts, about ten minutes on foot from the place de l’Horloge. The nearest car parks are Saint-Roch and Jean-Jaurès; the Île Piot car park is free and its shuttle drops you at the porte de l’Oulle.
Is the shop wheelchair accessible?
The front carries the accessibility sign and the entrance is a double door. There is still one low step at the threshold, up from the pavement. To plan your visit, call 06 25 81 91 83.
